Joshua Green has been singing longer than he could talk! He was reportedly standing in his crib, hanging over the edge humming and singing random syllabus along with the radio. He played piano for his church when he was 10 years old, and has never looked back. His musical credits range from recording on Chris Crump's latest studio EP (keys, piano) to playing keys and singing for the televised Miss Louisiana Pageant.
Joshua graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelors Degree in Music, with an emphasis in Piano Performance. In 2011, Josh was cast as Link Larkin in Hairspray, Strauss Theatre in Monroe, and then connected with Strauss Youth Academy of the Arts and worked with them as a musical director for "Return to the Forbidden Planet." After moving to Houston in 2013, Josh connected with Wildfish. He has directed over 13 shows of which his favorites are "Ruthless" and "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.".
Along with his Musical Director career, he is also a worship leader at Houston's First Baptist, and has cowritten a song titled, "Grace, Grace" that has been published through "First Worship" at Houston's First and Lifeway. His has a passion for teaching, equipping the next generation of leaders, writing and producing music, and serving the church. His other passions include jamming music with his friends, cars, watching Formula 1 racing and favorite driver, Lewis Hamilton, suporting his Houston Rockets, and trying to visit as many restaurants in Houston as possible.
