FALL 2017 SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER COMING SOON
HELP US SHARE THE BENEFITS OF
MUSICAL THEATRE EDUCATION THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS
I am immeasurably grateful for your seemingly endless generosity of time, talent and donations. Our first annual Scholarship Fundraiser Event was an evening filled with entertainment, friendship, fond memories, fun surprises and a goal met!
Put into motion by our community-minded teenagers, a very ambitious goal was set to raise a scholarship fund of $20,000. Thanks to their vision and the enthusiastic kindness of our Wildfish families and friends, we will be able to continue to teach more children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to take advantage of the countless benefits of musical theatre education. As many of the seniors shared on Saturday, Wildfish is not just about singing, acting, and dancing. It is also an opportunity to connect with a community, to learn leadership, teamwork, accountability, thinking on your feet, and the list goes on.
Thank you to everyone for sharing so whole-heartedly.
Krysti Wilson Dailey,
Executive Artistic Director
THANK YOU FROM THE 2016 CAST
When I met my graduating friends for coffee to discuss my idea to raise $20,000 for a Wildfish Scholarship Fund, we all knew it was a really high goal. But we also agreed that we wanted to make sure students who shared our passion formusical theatre would not miss out due to limited finances. Most of us started at Wildfish Theatre when it opened eight years ago. We could not imagine missing the lessons we have learned at Wildfish that have prepared us for whatever we choose to pursue in our lives, from the arts, to engineering, to law. On behalf of the graduating seniors and the entire cast, we cannot thank everyone enough who came to see our show, contributed to the fund, and volunteered to help in so many ways. You are all superstars!
