Mission

We strive to provide an educational environment for children to hone leadership, discipline, self-worth and confidence through the challenge of rehearsal and live performance for the development of our future arts patrons and leaders.

VISION

Wildfish Theatre is a non-profit children's theatre located in the Houston Galleria area providing children the opportunity to hone a sense of leadership, discipline, self-worth and confidence through the challenge of rehearsal and live performance. We produce a broad range of theatrical presentations of the highest possible quality while nurturing and developing the talents of young performers. Wildfish proudly demonstrates a healthy, cooperative business environment for the purpose of enriching the theatre community of Houston as well as Wildfish Theatre for the benefit of young performers and citizens.

PERSONAL GROWTH

  • Produce a broad range of theatrical presentations of the highest possible quality while nurturing and developing the talents of young performers.

  • Demonstrate a healthy cooperative business environment for the purpose of enriching the  community theatre community of Houston as well as Wildfish Theatre for the benefit of young performers and citizens.

  • Provide age-appropriate production opportunities for ages 5 - 17 each semester and each summer

  • Provide hands-on learning experiences in all aspects of theatre production and management

  • Provide opportunity for teen actors to share their talents with younger classes as mentors and interns

  • Create and nurture responsible members of society through our efforts to give back to the Houston community.

COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide opportunities each semester for the students to volunteer their time and talents to those less fortunate, through which we hope to build a strong appreciation for the importance and necessity of philanthropy.

  • Enhance development of youth in the theatre arts and community through cooperative ventures with local schools

  • Be a strong leader in the community of Houston children’s theatre by sharing resources and collaborating for the benefit of young performers and by joining with other community theaters for mutual assistance and enrichment
